The Voice of the Soprano Saxophone


THE SHOW

        A concert of the great art songs of the 20th and 21st century reinterpreted on Soprano Saxophone and accompanied on Piano. Pieces from Spain, France, United Kingdom, and Latin America and featuring the works of de Falla, Granados, Faure, Vaughan Williams, Poulenc, Satie, and Villa-Lobos.


TOM ROBINSON - Soprano Saxophone

        Mr. Robinson studied saxophone at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio where he received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. He teaches jazz piano, saxophone and directs the jazz band for St. Paul's School in Concord, NH. He is a member of the Concord Community Music School's Musicians of Wall Street, and the PSU faculty jazz quartet. He has a busy performance schedule as a soloist, sideman, and as part of a trio with drummer Tim Gilmore, and bassist John Hunter. The trio's recording Skylight features original music.


NOELLE BEAUDIN - Piano

        Ms. Beaudin studied Piano Performance and Composition at The Boston Conservatory of Music and performed frequently in the Boston area before moving to France and the UK. She now has a very busy studio and music summer camp in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and enjoys performing throughout New England as a soloist or accompanist.
